Job Description summary:

The Health Coordinator administers 13 health programs focussed on prevention as well as provides up to date health information and liason services to members.

 

Health program summary:

The programs offers a variety of services that were developed to meet and address our member’s needs to ensure healthy lives.

  • Annual Health Fair and Workshops for all ages
  • Bi-Monthly Health Newsletter 
  • Home visits and Support for Children 0-6 Years of Age
  • Body Composition Analyses
  • Toy Lending Library
  • Health Video Library
  • Health Education packages
  • Referrals to Additional Services

Nimino Ayaa Health Committee is comprised of community members who are actively involved within the Health department and provides guidance to meet the health needs of the membership of Animbiigoo Zaagi’igan Anishinaabek.
